Sports Nightly

BCSN’s Sports Nightly is your new home for sports coverage, seven nights a week. The show features Eric Haubert, Christina Aguayo and Brandon Arroyo who will discuss local sporting events each night at 10:30pm. They will bring viewers the latest in scores, highlights, and analysis on local sports. Sports Nightly will feature personal interest stories and insight with interviews from coaches and players.

Eric Haubert is northwest Ohio native who graduated from Maumee High School and Bowling Green State University, where he majored in Broadcast Journalism and served as Sports Director of BG24 News. After BGSU, he worked as a Sports Anchor/Reporter/Photographer in Toledo, Roanoke, Virginia and Raleigh, North Carolina. After his time in the Tar Heel state, he returned to northwest Ohio serving as Sports Director at the local NBC affiliate, before joining WTVG's sports department in 2012. Eric joined BCSN in 2012, first as a play by play announcer and in 2014 as a Anchor/Reporter on Sports Nightly.

Christina Aguayo grew up on a farm in the small town of Elizabeth Colorado.  Her parents instilled in her the importance of hard work, and raised her with a strong foundation that she could build her life upon.

Growing up on a farm, Christina spent most of her time outdoors, developing a love for animals.  It was then that she began to see the world through a different set of eyes, coming to the realization that everyone and everything has a heart, and a story.

Her first stop was Greenville, Mississippi where she served as the Weekend Sports Anchor / Reporter.  While in The Delta, Christina covered the SEC, SWAC, GSC, along side of in depth coverage of local High School sports.

She continued her career in Fort Wayne where she began as the Weekend Sports Anchor, and quickly moved up into the Sports Director position.  While in Indiana, Christina enjoyed covering The Big Ten, The Colts, The Bengals, ECHL Hockey, Minor League Baseball, the NBA D-League Champion Mad Ants, and continued her focus on local community sports.

Her next move was to Georgia, where she was set to task at building a Sports Department from the ground up, an undertaking that she welcomed and proved to be successful at.

Christina is excited to be part of the Toledo Community, and looks forward to providing the best community coverage to our local residents.  Her vision is to bring a fun, fresh, new perspective to the sports world, and to reveal to the world, that there is an inner athlete in all of us. Her goal is to inspire people on her journey to the top, one story at a time.

Brandon Arroyo is a native of northeastern Ohio and an alum of Kent State University. During his senior year at Kent State,  Brandon reported social media interaction for 'Big Board Football Friday', on 19 Action News in Cleveland. Brandon starts 2016 with BCSN and resides in Perrysburg.
