Wingate, a 6-foot senior middle hitter, has helped the Eagles win back-to-back Three Rivers Athletic Conference volleyball titles.
In her third season in the lineup for Notre Dame (18-3, 6-0 TRAC), Wingate is a team captain and a steady and versatile court leader for the Eagles, who are Ohio’s ninth-ranked Division I team.
Wingate, who leads the Eagles with a .358 hitting percentage, has 130 kills, a kill percentage of .455, and a team-high 65 total blocks. She has also added 48 digs. Last season, she helped Notre Dame advance to the D-I regional finals.
In the Eagles’ 3-1 TRAC win over rival St. Ursula on Oct. 5, Wingate contributed five kills.
“Justice is a fantastic young lady,” Notre Dame coach Jeff Pitzen said.
“She has worked very hard to improve at her position over the last three years.
“She is coachable, dedicated to the success of the team and the program, and a great role model for our younger girls in the program.”
