The fourth edition of The Blade’s weekly high school football poll features no changes atop any of the three polls even after Whitmer’s big TRAC road win Friday over Central Catholic.

The Panthers retain the top spot in the Division I-II vote following the 21-14 victory at Gallagher Stadium, which snapped the Fighting Irish’s 30-game conference winning streak. Despite the loss, Central Catholic remains atop the Division III-IV vote at 5-1 over No. 2-ranked Wauseon, which holds the same record following its Friday win over previously unbeaten Liberty Center.

Eastwood remains atop the Division V-VI-VII poll after a 35-7 win over NBC foe Fostoria

Among other notable results, Anthony Wayne shut out Maumee to stay at No. 2 in the big-school poll, while fellow NLL school Northview downed Napoleon 35-13 to stay unbeaten at 6-0. That poll is rounded out by TRAC schools Findlay and Fremont Ross.

With Liberty Center’s loss, Liberty-Benton (5-1) moved up to the No. 2 spot in the Division V-VI-VII poll thanks to its 62-0 thrashing of Arcadia. The Eagles have won their last three games by a combined 153-0.
