BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University kicker Jake Suder was named Mid-American Conference East Division special teams player of the week, the league announced Monday.

Suder, a Central Catholic graduate, made all four of his field-goal attempts in the Falcons 35-27 loss to South Dakota at Doyt Perry Stadium Saturday.

A junior, Suder connected on field goals of 30, 27 and 40 yards in the first half, then added a 38-yard field goal in the final period to tie the Perry Stadium record for field goals in a single game.

Suder, who also made his only extra-point attempt against the Coyotes, is 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts this season.
