NWOAL roundup: Trio lead Patrick Henry to first win

Tinora also earns first victory by topping Delta 24-6

HAMLER — Three different Patriots ran for at least 70 yards and a touchdown in their home nonconference win.

Will Morrow led the Patriots with four carries for 102 yards and score. Xavier Wensick had 17 attempts for 83 yards and two touchdowns. T.J. Rhamy finished with 15 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown.

Jarrett Maas completed 6 of 12 passes for 142 yards for PH. He also scored on a 12-yard touchdown run.

For Columbus Grove, Caleb Barrientes (four catches, 152 yards) scored on 87- and 47-yard touchdown passes from Blake Reynolds, who threw for 278 yards.

Tinora 24, Delta 6

DELTA — The Rams limited the home team to just 100 yards of total offense, grinding out 120 rushing yards and two TDs.

Brady Bumb had 78 yards rushing to lead Tinora (1-2), and the rushing TDs came on a 2-yard run by Brendan Dingus and a 4-yard run by Andrew Imthurn.

The Rams also got a 45-yard scoring strike from Spencer Giesege to Alex Henry, and Jacob Drewes added a 60-yard punt return for a TD.

Delta (1-2) scored its lone touchdown on a 15-yard run by Tyson Cameron in the fourth quarter.
