ANN ARBOR — That was a short stay.

Four days after Mike Johnson announced his resignation from The King's Academy, a private high school in California, to join the Michigan coaching staff, the 10-year NFL assistant has reversed course and is instead taking a job at Oregon.

Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports reported that Johnson will be the wide receivers coach at Oregon. The Ducks are coached by Willie Taggart, one of Jim Harbaugh's best friends.

In three seasons as head coach at The King's Academy, Johnson compiled a record of 24-9. His son, Michael Johnson Jr., is one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the class of 2019.
