Jami Hardy, Cardinal Stritch
The Cardinals girls basketball team has overachieved with its Toledo Area Athletic Conference championship, and Hardy’s 17.6 points per game, 7.5 rpg, 90 assists, nine blocks, and 108 steals are a big reason why.
The senior guard does just about everything for Cardinal Stritch, but coach Brad Kuron said the calmness she brings to her teammates on the court also helps elevate play.
“I don’t think there is a better player in our league than Jami,” he said. “Her work ethic sets her apart from everyone else.”
Kuron said after playing all 32 minutes in a win Monday against Danbury, Hardy was going just as hard in Tuesday’s practice, although several players were tired and beat up from the game.
Hardy also played a key role with the Cardinal Stritch soccer team. She is exploring options of continuing her basketball career collegiately.
