BGSU women fall to Western Michigan

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team suffered a 74-53 loss to Western Michigan at the Stroh Center today.

Carly Santoro finished with 11 points to lead the Falcons (6-19, 2-11 Mid-American Conference), while Ashley Tunstall added 10.

Deja Wimby led four players in double figures for Western Michigan (15-9, 6-7 MAC) with 23 points. Meredith Shipman finished with 18 for the Broncos, while Breanna Mobley had 11 and Marley Hill 10.

HALFTIME

The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team leads Western Michigan 32-30 at halftime at the Stroh Center today.

Carly Santoro scored 11 points to lead the Falcons, who also got five points from Ashley Tunstall.

Deja Wimby led Western Michigan with 11 points, while Marley Hill added six for the Broncos.
