Perrysburg, Napoleon also win in NLL action

ANTHONY WAYNE 52, SPRINGFIELD 35

Renee Saneholtz had a game-high 13 points to lead the Generals (11-3, 6-3 NLL) past the Blue Devils in a Northern Lakes League girls basketball game on Friday night.

Ally Mossing led Springfield (11-4, 6-2) with 10 points.

PERRYSBURG 79, MAUMEE 26

The Yellow Jackets (10-4, 9-0) defended their home court with ease. Hailey Wenzelman scored 19 and Ashlynn Brown had 14 points to lead the way.

The Panthers (3-13, 0-9) were paced by Alissa Schneider with 11.

NAPOLEON 43, BOWLING GREEN 28

NAPOLEON — Bethany Blackwood had 14 points, and Lexi Woods scored 11 in a Wildcats home win.

Kendal Glandorff paced Bowling Green with 17 points, while Julia Maas had 10 points.

MONTPELIER 55, HILLTOP 30

MONTPELIER — Jaelyn Lyons had 15 points, Rebekah Carr scored 14, and Lauren Cooke had 11 as the Locomotives won on the road.

Montpelier led 33-13 at half.

BEDFORD 43, ANN ARBOR SKYLINE 20

ANN ARBOR — Koryn King finished with 14 points as the Kicking Mules (7-5) won at Skyline (1-8), whose top player was limited to seven points.
