Notes: Toledo (21-41-5) is coming off back-to-back shutout losses to Wheeling (4-0 and 3-0) on Tuesday and Wednesday. … Toledo is 1-4-1 against the Komets this year. … Fort Wayne (32-23-12) currently occupies the eighth and final playoff spot, two points ahead of Florida and four behind Wheeling. … The teams will meet again on Sunday in Fort Wayne. … Toledo has five games left, including three at home and three against the Komets. … The Walleye will miss the playoffs for the third time in five years. … The team is without eight of its top 14 scorers due to various roster moves. … The team signed rookie F Kristoff Kontos on Tuesday. The 20-year-old played for Saginaw of the Ontario Hockey League, scoring 25 goals with a team-high 50 assists in 68 games. D Joe Gleason was sent back to Toledo from Rockford of the AHL. Gleason has 18 points (3G, 15A) in 48 games. … D Jake Chelios was loaned to Chicago of the AHL. Chelios has collected one goal and one assist in seven games since signing with Toledo on March 22. … F Ryan Flanigan has played for four ECHL teams this year.
