Toledo Walleye goaltender Jared Coreau was recalled to Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League today.
Coreau has a record of 1-11-4 with a 4.20 goals-against average and a .872 save percentage for Toledo.
The rookie from Northern Michigan University has also appeared in five games with the Griffins this year. In those games he has a record of 0-4-0 and a 4.39 GAA.
Veteran goalie Hannu Toivonen, who returned to Toledo from an AHL call up last Friday, led the team to back-to-back wins in Cincinnati last weekend. Toivonen (9-8-1) has a 3.56 GAA with the Walleye.
Perrysburg native Matt Cooper has been signed as Toivonen's emergency backup.
The Walleye play at Wheeling on Wednesday. They return home to host Kalamazoo on Friday and Saturday.
