A pair of former Toledo Walleye spoiled the head coaching debut of Dan Watson tonight at the Huntington Center.
Scott Arnold and Emerson Clark scored goals to help Greenville to a 3-1 win over the Walleye, who are winless in their last nine games.
Josh Nicholls gave Greenville a 1-0 lead with 4:34 left in the first, and Kyle Rogers tied the game with 2:38 left in the second.
With 13:24 left in the third, Arnold gave Greenville a 2-1 lead when he scored on a penalty shot, and Clark scored the Road Warriors' third goal four minutes later.
Walleye goalie Jared Coreau made 23 saves.
Greenville goalie Jason Missiaen made 22 saves.
The Walleye host Greenville at 5:15 p.m. Sunday at the Huntington Center.
