ANN ARBOR — Michigan freshman Jake Butt is out indefinitely after tearing his ACL.
The Michigan football program announced Butt's injury early today in a release, and said Butt sustained the injury during winter conditioning.
Butt, a tight end who is from Columbus, had 20 catches for 235 yards and two touchdowns in his first season with the Wolverines.
Michigan is scheduled to open spring practices Feb. 25.
